Monday top tips

The most  common problem we see in our workshop is for broken/faulty power ports (jacks).  Practically every time we see this fault, it is down to user damage so we thought it would be more useful to give you our 5 top tips to avoid this damage which would cost you £79.95 to repair;

1.       Only plug in where you are stationery – avoid moving if you are plugged into the mains
2.       Do not have the laptop powerlead stretched to reach your port, get an extension cable
3.       Use your laptop on a flat surface to avoid it falling – beds should be out of bounds
4.       Keep your cable away from walkways to avoid someone tripping over it
5.       Unplug your adapter before you put it away, never keep it plugged in in your laptop bag.
