Allowing your laptop to switch off without properly shutting it down can do more harm than you think - in the main, having to reinstall the operating system (OS) from scratch. It is harmful to do this so if you are going to go walkies and your laptop is not plugged in to the mains, please either shut it down or get it plugged in.
