7. My laptop is making funny noises -  If it is whirring or clicking, it is most likely that the problem is with the hard drive. You need to run    a backup immediately or turn it off and seek specialist help before you lose all your important data.   -  If it is crackling, then the problem is either electrical (requiring immediate attention) or to do with    your speakers. Either way, you need to seek help from a specialist.
