5. Are you working in a laptop friendly zone? Take a look at your working environment. If you get lots of dust coming in through open windows, or the atmosphere is damp, then it wont only shorten your laptops life, it wont be doing you too many favours either! Start with the desk or table that your laptop sits on and then take in the rest of your surroundings.
